From a Python script on a MacBook
to a production SaaS.
It started as a few Python scripts called PyEasy. A simple question: "Can I build a tool that tells me which stocks in my portfolio are fundamentally strong, and which ones are showing cracks?"
The answer was yes — but answering it well required real data plumbing, machine learning, AI integration, a mobile app, billing, security, and a dashboard a normal human could use. So that's what got built.
Today GMI is a complete analytics platform combining live financial data, ML.NET forecasting, Claude AI for natural-language follow-up, Excel and DOCX export, and a pay-per-use pricing model that means you only pay when you actually run something. Built in six months. Shipped to production in April 2026. Maintained as a serious product, not a side project.
